In quick review, we have talked about the DOWNSIDE of being a sensitive or empath. (see past classets for details)
And we have talked about the UPSIDE of being a sensitive or empath. As a spiritual gift, it’s meant to be utilized to its fullest for the highest and best good for all - especially YOU!
We also learned that we are not alone. There are many of us all over the world. And now scientists know this too. We will not discuss this during this classest, but know that research is currently being focused on this phenomena.
What we will focus on in this series, is what do we do about it?! We know that folks like us, who are sensitive to the energies around us, pick up a lot of information. Often it can feel like way too much information. And if you are an empath, you can even feel it in your own body as though it is your own. This not only includes emotions but it can also be physical pain. This is why so many of us can feel like this spiritual gift is a “curse.” Today we are going to learn one of several techniques that will help us figure out what is going on and why.
One of the first and easiest things we can do is to figure out if they belong to us or not. One way of doing this is to ask our bodies a “Yes” or “No” question.
Practice this and it will become second nature to you. You do not need to be a sensitive or empath to use this technique.
The trick to learn how to do this is by using questions that have an answer that is very clearly a “Yes” or a “No.” For example, I could ask my body, “Do I like ice cream?” The answer is that I love ice cream! But I am also allergic to dairy and so it makes me sick. This would be a very pour question for me to use when learning this technique, as the answer is muddled.
Practice this in a variety of situations. When seeking clarity for any reason, give this technique a try.
Next month we will learn how to apply this easy technique specifically to know what we are feeling as a sensitive or empath. In the meantime, practice. You may also want to write down discoveries you will make as you explore what being a sensitive or empath means to you. Blessings to you on this next leg of your journey!
